I'm so happy to tell you that you helped us raise about $400 on Friday at the Richland farmers market to be donated to Harmony Outreach. Harmony Outreach is an organization that reaches out to orphans and vulnerable people in China, Ethiopia and Cambodia. We are aware of the fact that the business that we are in is a very indulgent one and a completely dispensable one at that. Not that dessert and pastry is bad it's just not part of an essential need. When you boil it down we are basically in the business of selling small bits of happiness and pleasure. It's a fun and rewarding profession but we believe that we can and should take it a step further, and God willing, do what we can to bless those less fortunate. We plan on donating our profit from the farmers market one Friday a month to Harmony Outreach.
